SHUTTERS / CORRUGATED PANELS

WHAT ARE CORRUGATED PANELS?

These hurricane panels are available in steel (22 + 24 gauge), aluminum or clear plastic and attach manually to the walls around windows and doors on permanently affixed tracks. Each corrugated panel is corrugated with alternate ridges and grooves, which in turn overlap the next for maximum strength.

SAFETY EDGE DESIGN.

All-American Shutters & Glass effectively eliminated dangerous sharp edges by pioneering the industry’s only “Safety Edge” design, making our steel corrugated panels safer than any other to handle and install.

HOW TO INSTALL CORRUGATED PANELS:

Easy to install on both windows and doors, corrugated panels fit into tracks above and below, or on the sides of an opening. Each panel is labeled to correspond with an easy to follow diagram of your property. During installation, panels are aligned with anchors or studcons, then screws or wingnuts are applied and tightened manually.

Depending on the client’s preference, HOA approval and local building code requirements, options for mounting styles can include:

Tracks & Bolts
F-shaped Tracks
Screws & Anchors
Studcons with Wingnuts

WHY CHOOSE CORRUGATED PANELS?

Steel hurricane panels are the most budget friendly permanent shutter system, with virtually no maintenance necessary. The option to incorporate clear panels in select openings can also allow a moderate amount of light into an otherwise darkened room, while remaining secure from the elements. For a minimal investment, panels are an excellent choice for maximum security and are removable to preserve the beauty of your home when not in use. Stack neatly together for easy storage.
